Alright, it is now 11:49pm and I am not sure if I will finish this before tomorrow. Though I am going to pretend this is going by Pacific Time, so now I have three more hours. =]
One: Go to Google, type in "lol limewire". Then, click I'm feeling lucky... [Do not worry, it is appropriate, and hilarious!]
Two: Using "Post.Script." instead of "p.s." It makes me feel smart, since so many people do not know what p.s. means. Also I enjoy having things typed out instead of abbreviated, kind of a little OCD habit of mine. ha
Three: [[[Brackets!]]] I prefer [] over (). Brackets are just more fun, new, and squarish. Plus smiley's are cuter with them. =]
Four: My New Job! I am a Hostess at McCoy's Bar and Grill at the Hyatt Hotel. And I enjoy so much about my job. All of my employees are super fun and easy to get along with, as well as the whole staff at the Hyatt. I enjoy the restaurant atmosphere because people are usually in a good mood when arriving at a nice restaurant because they're happy to be able to enjoy good food. And as I mentioned in last week's blog, I love people. I am also loving my job because it showed up at the perfect time. I knew God had the right job for me, and it is amazing to see what I have been patient for really start to unfold within my life. I have officially had three days of work so far and I am feeling more and more comfortable being placed in this job. Yay!
Five: Exercising. I went walking on a treadmill last night, and it really felt refreshing and energizing to get back to being active.
Six: No Bake cookies. I'm not sure how many of you have tried some no bake cookies. Though I had all of the ingredients available for them, so I decided to try out a random recipe online. I love to cook, especially bake, though when you're a bit low on money, there is only so much you can do about the extravagance of your diet. My cookies were made with oatmeal, Nesquik, and peanut butter as the main ingredients. They turned out to be really delicious and my recipe made a ton of them so they have been lasting me all week. Which is an extra plus!
Seven: Painting. Last Sunday night I was watching Discovery Church STATUS online. The service was very art oriented, there was some painters, the worship was most of the night, and then there were five poems that taught a message about God and His character. While this was going on I had a deep desire to paint something again. So as the worship playing and I listened to the poems, God gave me something to paint too. This of course also created the opportunity for me to write another blog, King.
Eight: Shortcuts. While working at the Hyatt I have the opportunity to talk with many people. One person in particular was extremely helpful with driving directions, thankfully. He told me a faster way for me to arrive at work, while still avoiding tolls. It's Beautiful.
Nine: Meeting new people, and knowing you're going to be friends with them for a long time. =]]]
Ten: Being able to write a blog about ALL positive things. Negativity just brings people down, and I believe it is smart to focus on the wonderful things in life. =]
Alright everybody, I have been busy with my work schedule so I apologize for not posting this on the actual Thursday day, but I'm sure you will be okay. Haha. Till next Thursday, Have a Fantabulous week!
Thank You for reading my blog,
I am extremely appreciative!
Love you all,

King
Who or what do you think of when you hear the word King?
There's so many different things the work King represents. Dictionary.com's first definition says: a male sovereign or monarch; a man who holds by life tenure, and usually by hereditary right, the chief authority over a country and people.
Who or what are you thinking of? For example I know about thirteen different ones.
- Cards, King of Hearts, King of Diamonds, King of Spades, King of Clubs.
- Burger King, not only the restaurant, but the ever so popular mascot.
- Chess King. He's not the very best piece to hold, but he is pretty important.
- Checkers King. This of course is great to have in checkers, you know you're doing well when you've got a few of these stacked up.
- King Tut, if you enjoy learning some history about the Egyptians you know who I'm talking about. If not, please go back to 6th grade and pay attention when your teacher is teaching history.
- King Arthur. The movie was released in 2004 receiving three awards and seven nominations. Or the legendary British leader who, according to Medieval histories and romances, led the defense of Britain against Saxon invaders in the early sixth century....Yeah.
- Motorcycles, the Suzuki B-King, the ultimate street bike!
- Lion King. Yes, Disney has tons of Kings, but I think the most famous of them is the Lion King. [come on, it's in the title of the story, all the other kings are just there because of the princesses]
- King Crabs! Also called Stone Crabs or Paralithodes Camtschaticus. [I totally know how to pronounce those words... O_o ] They're pretty scary, Google them!
-King.com! It's a website for games! Free Games, and they give out 300,000 in daily prizes...*Cough*in Euro money*Cough*
- For you avid readers out there, Stephen King. He wrote over one hundred and fifty written works! That's amazing!
- King Instruments! Trombones, Saxophones, Trumpets, Tubas, etc...
Ok, seriously..
When I hear or read or whatever of the word King. I think of the Jesus. The one who died for all of mine, and the worlds past, present, and future sins. Although the very typical "King" reference is of a man in royalty who is in charge of a kingdom. He wears a fancy red robe, wears a fancy golden crown, and gets only the best of the best castle, food, and servers waiting on him hand and foot.
Jesus is King, but he wore a different type of crown.
The Crown of Thorns is mentioned four different times that I am aware of in the bible: Matthew 27:29, Mark 15:17, John 19:2, John 19:5. All of them being incidents where Jesus was either being mocked or was on his way to getting crucified. I mention this because King is such a powerful position. I think of Jesus as my King because He is he ruler of my life, He is in charge! Jesus is not King just to be a ruler, He is King because He Loves us, and wants only the very best for our lives. When we make Him the ruler, Him the one to make the plans, then we live in His will. God's will. God's will isn't about following a set of rules and regulations, it's about creating a relationship with God and through getting to know His character and His personality for yourself and then you will eventually overflow with God's character.
Matthew 23: 25-28 says:
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean.
In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
So my question for you is. Who or what have you made King in your life? And I don't ask this to see how clean your outside is, I ask to see how your heart is doing? Are you willing to give God your heart and mind so He can live through you? So he can comfort you, bless you, protect you, provide for you, heal you, etc..
Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
God wants nothing but the absolute best for you! And since He is a gentleman, He will never force anything upon you. Which means you may have to reach out to God, let Him know you want Him to help you, you want Him to have control, you want to live in His will. It's a promise that He'll be there when you seek Him. So I ask again, Who or what is your King? And how important is your King to your life?
Thanks for reading my blog,
I appreciate is mucho lots!
Love You All,
KatrinaMarie

Thanks to Google, Imdb.com, and Wikipedia for some interesting facts about King's. Oh, and of course the Bible(NIV). =]]]

Things I Love Thursday
Welcome to my Blog,
Today[tonight] I am starting a new weekly blog entry for every Thursday! It's called, Things I love Thursday! I'm going to be writing about things I love about today, or something interesting and new in my life currently. The idea for this is not original, so I will give credit where credit is due. Here. I also have a dear friend of mine who does Things I Love Thursday too! My dear friend.
Here we go!
1. Dresses. I love dresses. Today I wore a dress to my interview with the Hyatt Hotel. It was black, with rectangle..ish. shapes on it, spread kind of like polka dots are. And it had a red bow on the front waist. I felt pretty, yet very professional. Dresses are like positive energy for me, I can't have a bad day wearing a dress.
2. RateMyProfessor.com This site has helped me numorous times! It's a site set up for college students to rate their professors and put their honest opinions of the class and the teacher. There are four ratings they're rated on: helpfulness, clarity, easiness, and you can even rate them hot or not! Then they're given an overall rating and you're allowed to leave other comments concerning the class.
Whether those comments be:
-The teacher shows favoritism to students, so get on their good side
-If you miss class...ok just DON'T!!
-They have bad breath, beware!
-This teacher gives you 5 tests, 2 projects and one of those is a group project, along with a presentation and 3 pop quiz's. The teacher also only used the book once.
And the list of comments go on, but you really get the dirt, and the helpful information to know a general idea of the type of teacher you're dealing with before you get into class. It is wonderful!
3. People. I encountered a lot of people today and yesterday between my interviews at the Hyatt. And most people are friendly, I never encountered anyone rude or non helpful. It was nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah, not everyone is nice. Though I believe a majority of the world is, especially in a place of business, since it's a job requirement. So maybe some of the niceness isn't real, but either way I appreciate it! haha
4. Cute men. I know, I'm not looking for a relationship right now. Though it's nice to see God's talents shown off around me. haha
5. My black pumps. It's a very staple item for a girls wardrobe, and I am very thankful for mine because they're comfortable, cute, and useful. It's said you know how good of a deal you got on something from how many times you use it. For example, If I bought a pair of shoes for $25, and only wore them once then I wasn't getting such a great deal. Though if I wore them every day for a year, then it was like paying 7 cents per day for them, which is a great deal compared to the shoes I bought for $25 and only wore once!! [hypothetically of course, lol] My point is, my black pumps have gotten my money's worth, and I love that!
6. Friends. True ones. The ones you know you'll stay friends with no matter what! Even a move. =]
7. Fun FREE ring tones! RinnngRinnnngRinnnng I have been able to download many of my favorite songs to have as ringtones for completely free. Including Julian Smith's Jelly fish song. So if you're interested, click on the link and search for your favorite tone! [Just so you know, not all of the ringtones on the website are free, so look around and find the free ones, there's actually a lot.]
8. Hulu is a site to watch tv shows online. Which I absolutely LOVE because I don't have a tv where I currently live. Which is ok, I would rather sit through a thirty second commercial on hulu and choose my time of when to watch a show and if I want to pause it or rewind it on my computer than watch a show on tv.
9. Clementine
10. Molly
Mk, with less than a half hour of my Thursday, those are just 10 Things I Love Thursday! [I may not always do ten, I could do less, or more.] Have a wonder last few minutes of Thursday and a fantastic Friday!
Thank You for reading this, I appreciate it! Mucho Lots!

Relieve stress.
Recently I've been applying at jobs, after jobs, after jobs, after jobs... And through all these applications I've memorized references addresses and phone numbers, answered just about every personality question there is, and I've wanted to curl up and cry through most of it. One question on the kmart personality questions stuck out especially to me tonight. There were many questions related to how you handle stress, and this one was, "when stressed out from work what do you do to relieve the stress?" the answers you were able to choose were:
sleep in on your day off.
eat something delicious.
exercise.
spend time with friends/family.
I don't get stressed.
When I read this question, I wished there was an "Other" option because honestly there's only one thing that can help me relieve my stress. I put "sleep in on my day off" for my answer, mostly because physically it makes me feel better after getting to sleep in with no time to get up. Though I wanted to answer God.
I know that sounds cheesy, but in all honesty, that is who I rely on. I simply cannot imagine my life without God, I can barley remember what I ever did before I knew Him. [except that I was extremely depressed.] Even though moving to Orlando is a big change, and a scary change for me, I knew I would be able to do it because I have God. And no matter what stress I undergo, I will always be able to turn to Him for comfort, peace, and guidance. God has the right job for me, and the right timing in it all. And the last thing I'm worried about is getting overly stressed, why? Because I have the creator of the universe to carry my load! I have applied to about forty, maybe even more, jobs recently. And out of those plus a few others I plan on applying at here soon, God has the position held for me. And I can smile, and worship Him for each and every opportunity that does, or doesn't work out. I am especially going to remember to worship Him when something doesn't work out because I know that if I was put into a place where I am not supposed to be at then I would ultimately be unhappy. And Katrina doesn't do unhappy. =P
So remember everyone, no matter what stress life is crowding you with remember that God knows you can handle it, and the parts you can't handle, He can, and He will! Let God have the first and final say in your life, He knows the right choices for you to make, and when you choose to live in His will your life will prosper. So... if you need to relieve some stress:
Let God have the keys so He can open and close the right doors in your life.
God Bless
