Things I Love 2010.

Since I have missed the last few "Things I Love Thursday's" because I have been quite busy, I decided to write about the recent things I loved and my year's positive notes. I hope you all have had a wonderful year. Maybe your year has undergone some of the worst moments in your life, for that I apologize for the turmoil you have had to endure. I hope you can still look back at the year seeking out positive memories to remember. Whether that be good laughs with friends, new friends, exciting trips, or even surviving a tough situation and coming out stronger because of it. Use whatever reason you can to smile and rejoice about your year, cause life is too short to frown. =]

+Being finished with my first semester at Valencia Community College. [Which is actually being changed to Valencia College]
+Making all A's this semester.
+Working a ton and thankfully making some decent money over this break! Christmas wasn't too expensive, and I should be able to afford my books next semester.
+Loving my job, even through stressful temporary transitions.
+Thoroughly enjoying Christmas music
+Getting to see my family and friends after it being wayy too long since I had seen them last.
+I got a Wii for Christmas! Woot! =]]
+Doing all my Christmas shopping between Forever 21 and walmart. Serious skills. =]
+Making Christmas cookies for my roommates, work, and family. They loved them, which makes me feel good. Woot!
+Finding seriously awesome sales still two days after Christmas. I didn't spend more than $5 on one item, and I picked out some cute stuff! Woot!

2010

+Figuring out what I want to do for my career.
+Taking action and applying to Valencia once the school was found, thanks to my mom for the help! =]
+Finding an apartment and moving to Orlando.
+Having awesome roommates. Seriously, God set up a nice environment for me.
+Being stressed for so long while looking for a job. Gaining patience while waiting for an opportunity. Landing a job that turned out better than expected. Appreciating having a job because it took so much work to find one.
+Learning independence.
+Learning how to be okay with being alone.
+Making it through stressful situations cause of my God.
+Having the courage to go to a large church without people I know being there.
+Staying healthy, I can't remember the last cold I had.
+Making many new friends between work and school.
+Still keeping contact with my close friends from other towns.
+Having a family who loves and supports me.
+Having my air fixed, and figuring out my cruise control setting in my car! Woot!
+Starting a blog!
+Keeping my fast. =]

Alrighty, I hope you all have a wonderful and safe New Years Eve and day!

Things I Love Thursday

Welcome back my fellow followers,
It's Thursday! Which means the positive notes are chiming! Lets go!

+This seriously easy and fun way of folding shirts, I am amused.

+Finishing up my final Costumes Design Project, and making an A! Also, finishing it at a decent hour of the day, not six am. Thanks to switching my days off around.

+Taking my lighting exam and the whole class laughing after it only took us about five minutes to complete. It was amazing.

+Finishing my take home test for Intro to Theatre and feeling confident that I did well. Though I am sad that class is over. =/

+Finishing my take home test for Survey of Entertainment Technology, and feeling confident to turn it in tomorrow.

+I believe I should have all A's this semester! Yay!

+My work's Christmas Party:
Using a curling iron and not burning myself.
Dressing up for the 1920's themed party.
Great food..
Fabulous Dessert!
Tiffany and I getting Sierra Mist for our fake champagne.
Lots of pictures.
Lots of dancing.
Mingling with the employees I love.
Realizing I knew a lot more people in different areas than I realized.
New employee friends.
After Party at Ale House.
More pictures.
Fun conversations.
Staying up late.
Not being tired the next day, despite my lack of sleep.

+Looking forward to normal days off work, and having time to spend with my friends from work outside of work. =]

Things I Love Thursday

Well, it is Thursday again, which means there's a positive note I plan to gloat about.

+ Well first off, it was my Birthday this past weekend. I am officially twenty years old. Yay.
+ Our group in Intro to Stage Lighting did our lighting project on Monday, and I am pretty sure we nailed it. Plus we had a ton of fun creating our show.
+ Seeing Burlesque for my birthday. I absolutely loved the movie.
+ Getting my lighting test back that I thought I bombed and actually getting a 92 on! Yay! Unfortunately that is still a B, but I am perfectly thankful considering I thought I was going to fail.
+ Getting off the waitlist and into my Advanced Stage Lighting class for next semester. So Excited!!
+ My current lighting teacher showing a few of us the new fancy Grand AM2 Lighting Board we get to work with in Advanced Stage Lighting. Which is also the same console they use for the Amway building for the Magic Basketball Games. Plus we're the first class to have the opportunity to learn about this board.
+ My parents sending me a care package, and giving me stuff to plant an Aloe plant. Which I thought was quite hilarious considering I burned my hand pretty bad last week on a curling iron.
+ Speaking of curling irons, I used one without burning myself last Monday.
+ Getting some killer awesome hours at work before Christmas, even though I'm exhausted.
+ Having my credit card work again.
+ Seeing "She Stoops To Conquer" at the Mad Cow Theatre  in Downtown Orlando.
+ Hanging out with my friends on my birthday.
+ Red Velvet cake.
+ Buying Christmas Cards to mail out to family and such. I feel so adult. Haha.
+ Knowing my phone contract is up and I can get a new phone!
+ School is almost finished for the semester. I. Am. Excited!
+ The employee Christmas Party is next week! I'm excited!
+ One of the youth I used to help mentor posting a scripture I used to always tell her on facebook, and her writing that she hasn't forgotten me telling her. It warmed my heart, and really made me miss youth ministry.

Have a blessed week, thanks for reading my blog!
Love you all,
