Whole-Hearted

It's been over a year that I have been living on my own. When I first moved my biggest independence worries were learning to pay bills, buy groceries, cook for myself, and navigate around town without getting lost. Though through this process of being independent I have learned that it is so much more than that for me. It's about putting all my hearts dependance on God. It's about not loosing my focus when life meets me with a train wreck. It's about making time to devote time and energy to pursuing God's will, God's love, and God's path for my life. I need God to hold onto my heart, not the world to, the enemy to, or myself to hold onto it. I need to be whole-hearted.
For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. 2 Chronicals 16:9

|Cure for Heart Disease|
When the ground is shaking I can stand firm with You
and though trials will prevail, so will Your love.
With energy at a low and my heart heavy with weight
there's passion, persistence and courage in an envelope to date.
Behold the truth and create a pattern you can submit
for the prescription for disorder is in a healthy heart that envelopes a God
so mighty in love and mighty in peace
So pick up every piece and gather your faith
cause God has the glue to cure this disease.
Smile and rejoice cause He has the cure
the cure to find what you've been searching for.

Whole-hearted my heart will be Yours.

Love you all,

Things I Love Thursday/Friday

I am late getting home tonight, so even though it is still my Thursday night, it is officially Friday. Oh well, here are the things I loved about my week!
*First off, I feel like this week has dragged on so slow. This could be because I am wishing for time to fly so I can start school, or cause I have been working the pm shifts at work and the business has been throughely slow. Either way, I'm thankful it's Thursday! Why? Cause this Thursday is my Friday! I have Friday and Saturday off work. I am completely thrilled! I have not had a Saturday off since I started working here. Yay!
This upcoming Saturday will also be the two month mark of working at the Hyatt. Yay!
*For those of you who know me pretty well you know I am a fan of Julian Smith on youtube. He often talks about or features his cat, Scout in videos. This week "Scout" created a Twitter account.

*Getting recognition from a manager on what quality of customer service? Smiling at every guest, of course. I would. Haha.
*Getting to hang out with coworkers at the beach on my day off.
*Pami is moving back to Orlando. Tomorrow!Today!
*Laughing, and how great it feels to be able to laugh with people, whether they are your friends or not!

*Getting to know my roommate more, and loving to see how God really worked out a great situation for me in Orlando.
*The Kit to my Kat is back in Orlando too!
*Knowing you are safe not because of cops or security, but because of God.
*Sleep! Speaking of, I am off to bed now.

Thanks for reading my blog. I apologize that the majority of my blog postings have been TILT. I hope to gather some blog ideas I have and create them for mid-week postings.
Love you all,

Ramble

It's less than an hour till Thursday, and it has come all too quickly this week.
A long time ago, when I got my first job. Junior Year, 2007. I was telling a friend about my new job and he said congratulations. Though he also mentioned that time flies when you have a job. I've remembered this ever since he told me. Why? Possibly because it's very true. When you get a job you find out your schedule, you count down the days until pay day, and you try to squeeze your social schedule within the free time you're given. I honestly feel like my life has just absolutely flown by since I started working. When I was in High School I was perfectly okay with that because I was not much of a fan of my school. Though now life has flown by still and even though I am only nineteen and a lot of people I know are older than me, I feel old. haha.

Anyway, on other terms. God is working thoroughly through me. I've been able to rely on Him more than ever, especially since I do not have as much of a social life since moving to Orlando. This I believe is a good thing for me, it has been sort of a sabbatical for me. Which, if you knew me prior to Orlando, you know I am a pretty hard core busy bee. I know pursuing Production Design is the major part of God's plan for my life. Though trying to figure out His plans for me other than school have been quite confusing. I know each friend I've had has always been there for a reason, whether they're apart of my life for a season, or they're one of my friends forever. I suppose you could say I have been over analyzing different situations I have encountered here because I am on my own and it is up to me and only me to figure out the plans for my life that God has for me. It is quite exciting, though also scary, thinking about the experiences I will be enduring now that I am independent. And exciting to see what more God has planned for me, cause the majority of things here have been absolutely wonderful. I am thankful for all God has blessed me with. =]

Thanks for reading my blog, check out tomorrow for TILT!
Love you all,

Change

I've officially had my first night in Orlando. My room is small and I've got no closet, so I'm managing. I've got about 3 boxes left to unpack, two of those being clothes I need to hang. I managed to reassemble my two portable closets, but I know they're put together wrong. haha. I ended up with two extra pieces, and they're difference heights. I'm contemplating taking them apart and trying to reassemble them, though it will be a pain. But once I hang my clothes I will have some more space, and I may try and rearrange some. I don't have a bed yet, I'm hoping to get a job first [and soon!] before I spend money on a bed. I want a full, though looking at the size of my room I may get a twin. [yuck!] Currently I've got a sleeping bad a a few blankets on the ground that I'm sleeping on. I'm getting used to the wall color of my room, it's this weird dull yellow green color. It looks much better with my stuff in here than it did when it was empty. The bathroom is nice, clean and the shower has good water pressure. The kitchen is quite large, though I haven't gone shopping yet so I'm a bit short on food as of now.
This morning I woke up for church. Online church. I didn't have the guts to attend a church yet. I've found a few I'm interested in online. Yet they're between 15 and 30 minutes away. Sometimes running into 2 tolls. This is different for me. I'm used to attending church that take me about two minutes to get to. [Minus Movement youth]  I watched the online service for Discovery Church today. [http://www.discoverychurch.org/] They're good, but the message series right now is about being burned by a church. And I have not been. [a good friend told me this analogy] It's important to still attend church somewhere even if you've been burned. It's like if you get burned in kitchen, that doesn't mean you stay out of the kitchen, you'll starve. Besides, you're there for the food, not the kitchen. And maybe you don't go back to the same pot or stove you got burned on [same church], but going back to get fed is important. And it may not be easy, but it will make you stronger.
Discovery church has a few campus's, two in particular I'd attend, the closer one which is 15min away, and the further but main campus which is 30min away..and the faster way has 2 tolls.
The other church I'm looking into is called Cross Pointe [http://www.xpointe.com/] they're 30min away also, with 2 tolls for the fast way. They're both non-denominational. And I'll continue looking for a good church to make sure I'm where God wants me to be.
This attending church without someone I know there will be different. Though I know it will help me grow stronger.
So things have changed, and all I can do is embrace it. Wish me luck. =J
